Summary: How did you make the same journey that George Melies told about and somehow do it WORSE?! At this point, lunar public relations would be driven to a screeching halt if the inhabitants caught wind of films like these.

History: An insectoid race living under the moon, the Selenites made their living building complex structures, hibernating, and farming "Moon Cattle" (giant space-caterpillars). Things were going well enough...then some astronauts arrived.

Notable Kills: None.

Final Fate: After the meat-head of the bunch shoots and kills a bunch of Selenites throughout the mission, he and the rest (except the scientist) head back to the ship and leave. Many years later, future explorers find the underground city dead and deserted. Turns out they had no resistance to that remaining human's common cold

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: They have no vaccines for foreign diseases.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-Sure, they're not totally malicious, and prefer discovery over violence at some points, but they can be pretty creepy. How often do you see bulbous termite-people in your life? Sadly, the suits used to replace stop-motion are something of a down-grade from the latter.

Trivia: -According to sources, the suits for the astronauts were actually meant for the Royal Air Force.
